Such a splendid modernist brooch made by Canadian designer Robert Larin in the late 1960's early 1970's. This is a fantastic cast pewter  brooch displaying surface texture with a brass sphere, one of Robert Larin's highly collectible styles which makes this piece very hard to pass up on. There is definitely no one word or select group of words that can define his artistic style except modern eclectic.
